What we do
We work with busy professionals who want their whole home to feel stylish, considered and cohesive, without managing every aesthetic decision themselves.
Our approach is design-led interior styling, guided by balance, proportion and restraint. Furniture, soft furnishings and materials are selected for how they sit together, how they age and how they function in everyday living. The result is never overstyled. Homes feel resolved, with every detail thoughtfully considered.
Projects may involve working alongside builders and draftspeople on CDC or DA-approved homes, either during the planning phase or once structural plans are complete and interior decisions remain open. My role is to guide key decisions, ensuring everything works cohesively towards the overall vision.
Where homes are architect-led, we can be engaged to refine furniture and the final layers of styling that bring the interior together.

For clients looking to refresh their home without renovating, including new home purchases, furniture, window furnishings and styling are refined to create a more elevated interior, without the cost or disruption of a renovation.
Every project begins with a design consultation, where we get to know you, your home and what you are hoping to achieve.
1. Book Your Consultation
We meet in your home or virtually for a focused 120-minute session to review your space, clarify your goals, and explore ideas that inform the design brief. We’ll also discuss your budget early to ensure the scope and direction are aligned. You’ll receive considered, practical advice and a clear understanding of what can be achieved under my direction.
2. Return Brief & Fee Proposal
Following our meeting, I prepare a return brief and fee proposal outlining the recommended scope, design direction, and next steps specific to your project.
3. Acceptance & Delivery
Once you decide to proceed, I take the lead, guiding the project from design concept development and sourcing through to procurement, installation, and final styling. You’ll be kept informed throughout, without needing to manage the process yourself.

Erin Michael is the founder and stylist behind Erin Michael Interiors.
With experience across residential homes, renovations and photo shoots, including work featured in over twenty issues of Real Living magazine and as a former contestant on The Block, Erin brings a trained eye for aesthetics and a calm, considered approach to every project.
The approach is collaborative, with an emphasis on trust, clear communication and accessibility throughout the process. Working closely with clients helps ensure decisions feel supported and the experience remains genuinely enjoyable from start to finish.
